As I moved through life and celebrated milestones, like turning 40, I noticed my body changing in ways I hadn’t anticipated. I gained 60 pounds (yes, 60) and, like so many women, found myself searching for ways to feel confident and comfortable in my new curves.

What I needed didn’t exist: shapewear that celebrated my shape, rather than hiding it. Most of what I tried was either too visible under clothes, uncomfortably restrictive, or lost the battle against things like thigh indentations and back bulges. I didn’t want to sacrifice elegance for support-or comfort for contour.

In 2023, I purchased my first sample, determined to create something better. Two years of research, trials, and real-life wear later, Alsay was born.
